New Attraction Enhancements and More Coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Because it is July 25th, Christmas in July, Disney is releasing all kinds of amazing holiday information today!

This one is fun and I love it!

For the first time ever, during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, select attractions are getting special “holiday enhancements”!

What is going to be “enhanced?”

Tomorrowland Speedway

This is so fun! I don’t usually ride this but I would ride it again to experience this!

Cruise” a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and stylized décor.”

They just redid the track on this to make room for the upcoming Tron attraction, and the updates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party actually make me want to ride it again!

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor:

Yet another attraction we usually don’t bother with, but I would go for this.  The Laugh Floor “is putting some “Ha Ha Ha” in their “Ho Ho Ho,” with a new show for everyone visiting the Monster World during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.”

Space Mountain:

Okay, this one is one of our daughter’s favorite rides, so we always go.

For the MVMCP they are going to add “dazzling lighting and high-energy holiday tunes.”

Again, this sounds like something I would love to ride.

Mad Tea Party:

I think this is going to be like what they do with it at the Halloween party.  It’s going to be  a “wild and wacky Christmas party, as you spin your teacups to one of four new holiday combos of lights and music.”

Of course that isn’t all. These enhancements will be added to the already amazing offerings like A Frozen Holiday Wish, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas, Club Tinsel, The Disney Junior Jingle Jam and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

Also new this year will be the brand-new fireworks show called Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.

Tickets are available now and the prices vary based on date. The fun begins on November 8 and runs on select nights through December 22, 2019. If you book early you can save $10 off the same day event price HERE.

A few tips here. 1. Normally, I wouldn’t recommend this party over something like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but these new “enhancements” do seem to make it a bit more worthwhile.  2. Keep in mind the party only runs officially from 7PM-Midnight (you can get in around 4PM though.) To do everything you might have to attend more than one night, but the lines are shorter for attractions, just not always significantly shorter. It depends on the night you go and how busy it is.
