Supaidāman! Supaidāman! Does whatever a supaidā can! What do those things include? Well, he rides a motorcycle. He also has powers given to him by an alien. Oh, and he also can command a giant transforming ship/mech called the Marveller. Finally, Japanese Spider-Man is also now a PX exclusive Funko Pop!

The Previews exclusive bobblehead measures 3.75″ tall and looks more or less like any other Spider-Man Pop with one exception. This Spidey has a special Spider Bracelet. Yes, that is what it is called. It shoots his webs and stores his Spidey tighties.

Inspired by the release of Marvel’s 616, the new eight-episode anthology series coming to Disney+, Spider-Man of Earth-51778 is here to put a uniquely Japanese spin on your Spidey collection! Young motorcycle racer Takuya Yamashiro becomes Spider-Man in the the 1978 tokusatsu live-action television series when tasked with saving the world by Garia, the last of the aliens from Planet Spider.

The Pop! Japanese TV Spider-Man bobblehead vinyl figure features the hero in his Spider-Protector costume with his Spider Bracelet that allows him to not only shoot webbing, but to call on giant robot known as Leopardon to aid in the fight against the evil Iron Cross Army!

Supaidāman was a television series that aired in Japan in the late ’70s and could occasionally be found on TV in the US during the early ’80s. The series was quite the departure from the webhead we knew and had that distinctive Japanese spin. Think Power Rangers but with Spidey spandex.

The episodes are a fun watch and are far more entertaining than the live-action Spidey we got here in the States.

The Supaidāman Pop will be out in November, but you can pre-order now over at the Big Bad Toy Store. The PX exclusive will only run you $14.99.

What are your thoughts on the live-action Spider-Man series from over forty years ago? Cheesy? Weird? A bit of both? Let us know in the comments.
